Change is in the air, but romance?
What's it like for those of you who're dating right now? Public distancing must be making it a bit difficult. I wonder if anyone has dated someone for weeks without seeing the lower half of their face?
On the other hand, I just passed my 20th anniversary with my husband in December--you know what we didn't exactly want after two decades together? 24/7 together! LOL
Honestly, it's been pretty great having him home this past year, but don't tell him that.
These are the scripts I'm reading this month:
- Prom
- Palm Springs
- The Personal History of David Copperfield
- Tenant
- The Trial of the Chicago 7
- The White Tiger
- Always Be My Maybe
- Date Night
- Ghost
- Groundhog Day
- The Addams Family
#100Screenplays 2021 reading challenge by the numbers:
Total yet-to be produced scripts: 8
Total produced scripts: 23
2021 Grand total: 31
What I learned:
It's going to be a strange award season with the Oscars postponed until April. When production opens back up, I'm hedging my bets on stories that make us feel good. Comedies, rom-coms, coming of age, second chances, under dogs and people who triumph over injustice...because we're all overdue to escape into happy stories!
